It has been confirmed that original actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Production is currently underway.

The duo will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Speculation suggests their cameos will likely occur in a brief glimpse ahead, considering the original saga concluded with their characters married and with children.
