Harvard ex-president Summers Leaves from ChatGPT Maker's Leadership
One-time economic leader Larry Summers is leaving the board at OpenAI, just a week after a series of electronic messages between him and notorious criminal the accused trafficker became widely known.
The economist commented in an announcement that he was "grateful for the chance to have served, enthusiastic about the prospects of the enterprise, and look forward following their advancement".
The former Harvard president, who formerly presided over Harvard University, announced on recently that he would be scaling back from public roles due to his association with Epstein.

The recently released communications demonstrated that the economist corresponded with Epstein until the 24 hours preceding Epstein's 2019 apprehension for alleged human trafficking of underage individuals.
In additional comments, the AI firm said it respected Summers' decision to resign.
