The tenth week again delivered, with a huge upset for the Bills demonstrating the 'any Sunday can bring surprises' saying that draws so many people into the National Football League

That result could have created things up for the Patriots to move back into a top spot they formerly held, with a schedule that gives them an edge over their 8-2 rivals

Meanwhile in the National Football Conference the Seahawks and Rams had perfect results to arrange a monster clash in week 11, while our player of the week is chasing records as well as the Most Valuable Player award

The Breakdown - Just a Bad Day for the Bills?

Josh Allen in action
Did Josh Allen try too much or was it just a poor performance for the Bills?

Was it just an emotional letdown from beating the Chiefs the previous week or a deeper issue? This remains the question for the Bills to address

The Buffalo squad had won seven in a consecutive games against the Dolphins but were second best from the start as the Miami team ran out 30-13 winners in an eye-opening outcome - and performance

MVP Josh Allen only got the team's initial first down in the third quarter and first points in the final quarter - yes Miami had 10 days to prepare but it was nonetheless a massive egg laid by one of the NFL's top offences

Dolphins quarterback Tua passed for two touchdowns but running back De'Von Achane was the game-changing factor, with 225 total yards and two scores

Containing the NFL's top rushing attack was also key, with Cook and teammates registering just eighty-six yards, their lowest of the year and just over half their 161.5-yard average

Additionally there were the three critical turnovers, and the pair from Allen specifically. An interception in the end zone resulting in a nine-minute drive produced nothing, and his fourth-quarter fumble that Miami turned into a touchdown just later

It was typical 'previous Bills teams' as they hurt themselves in the foot, getting into a deficit on defensive side and Allen trying to do too much to dig his team from the situation - not the composed, disciplined, well-balanced Buffalo team we've seen this year

The Dolphins have served up a varied performances this year so the jury's out on if this is the beginning of something, but for the Bills they'll need an immediate bounce-back in a tough game against Tampa Bay in week 11 as the Patriots are sneaking into a nice lead at the top of the American Football Conference East

In Focus - New England See Path to Surprise Top Seed

TreVeyon Henderson clocked the fifth fastest velocity in the NFL this season

Speaking of the Patriots, they're among three eight and two teams in the league, all American Football Conference sides, but are they the top team?

One could pick holes in the Patriots, the Broncos and Indianapolis actually for feasting on the weaker opponents, with only five of their combined twenty-four wins coming against opponents with a winning record - and one example was the Colts defeating the Denver

Denver beat the champion Eagles in Philly and are masters of the final quarter while Indianapolis can rely on Jonathan Taylor, but the New England adding Sunday's victory in Tampa to their prime time win in Orchard Park seems like a statement

Their pair of losses came in recently appointed coach Vrabel's first three contests, with seven consecutive wins, just like Denver, since then - but taking down Baker Mayfield after the Buccaneers had a bye to get ready was huge

Maye's Most Valuable Player credentials continue to be discussed, and he certainly deserves point for courage after taking some savage hits in Tampa but persevering to guide his side to success

The defense is solid and first-year running back Henderson burst onto the scene on game day with 147 rushing yards and two exciting touchdowns of fifty-five and sixty-nine yards - becoming just the fifth runner to exceed 22 miles per hour this season on his first score

Although you can debate who 'the top team' is statistically, the Pats should be favorites to end with the best record due to their remaining opponents - which includes just one game against a winning team, although a significant contest against the Bills

Traveling to Baltimore is challenging too, but the Broncos have it more difficult in the AFC West with the Chiefs to face two times, the Chargers (who could also compete for top seed but face the same problem) and additionally the Packers on the fixture list

The Indianapolis also play the Chiefs, and have the Seattle, San Francisco and two matchups with the five and four Jacksonville to face. There's a long way to travel but the door is open for a surprise number one position in the American Football Conference

Next Week - Rams & Seahawks Set for Next Week Clash

Two teams with solid claims to be superior to all of the three different 8-2 teams are National Football Conference West rivals the Seahawks and Los Angeles, who both scored forty points to go to 7-2 before the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster game between the two in LA

Both have won four in a consecutive games, have signal callers in Matthew Stafford and Sam Darnold playing at an high standard (although Sam Darnold had turnover issues on Sunday) with excellent pass catchers, and defenses allowing fewer than twenty points a contest

Each could realistically be without a loss as well - particularly the Rams as their two defeats came in extra time against the 49ers and then that painful defeat in Philadelphia when they had a game-winning field goal with the final play deflected and run back by the Philadelphia for a touchdown

The Seahawks were also defeated to San Francisco, with a late touchdown in week one, before losing to the final play of the contest against the Tampa Bay - so they're genuinely two of the top teams in the NFL

The upcoming game on Sunday could be the most exciting of the year to date

Top Performer - Jonathan Taylor
